The Sweetwater County Fire District #1 Fire Department is one of the most progressive Fire Departments in the state of Wyoming, and we are always looking for quality people to join our ranks.

If you are interested in joining the SWCFD#1, you have several options. The best is to come by the fire station any day of the week between the hours of 8am-4pm and fill out an application. You can also download our online application and either mail it to us or bring it by the station and give it to one of our members, they will be happy to answer your questions and help you with any concerns you have. To become a member of the SWCFD#1 you have to successfully pass a Doctors physical, Drug & Alcohol screening, driving background check, agility practical’s, and you must poses the ability and willingness to obtain Firefighting skills in the classroom and practical training environment
